The Same-Day Barber Journey #
- Receive Requests: Clients post haircut requests. When a client requests a cut, we notify all barbers within a 15-mile radius.
- Review and Accept: You can view their request and tap Accept if you’re available — or ignore it if you’re not. There are no penalties for non-response.
- Chat & Confirm: Ask questions or send directions via in-app chat.
- Complete & Get Paid: The client pays you the remaining balance in person. The $10 deposit they paid online goes toward the service as our referral fee.
Do I keep repeat clients? #
Yes. If the booking was made through the Haircut Now mobile app (same-day request):
- Haircut Now collects a $10 referral fee on the initial appointment.
- Barbers keep 100% of future bookings if the client returns directly.
- No additional referral fees are collected on repeat visits booked outside the app.
