Barber Requirements #
- Commercial Location: Barbers must operate from a commercial address (barbershop, salon, or suite) to accept same-day appointments. No home visits are allowed.
- Portfolio Photos: At least 5 high-quality portfolio photos are required to be eligible for same-day requests. Barbers with more photos are selected more often by clients.
- Password Requirements: Your app password must be 8 digits and include at least one uppercase letter and one special character.
What Haircut Now Does NOT Do #
- We do not charge the client to use Haircut Now — the $10 deposit is deducted from the service charge.
- We do not pass along the $10 to the barber if the client cancels.
- We do not manage existing clientele — all clients are new to each barber.
- We do not allow clients to pay for the entire service upfront — only the $10 deposit is collected online.
- We will not reach out to barbers for a follow-up; all uninitiated contact will be done via email or push notification.
- Clients cannot book follow-up appointments with Haircut Now — they must contact the barber directly.
