HAIRCUT NOW TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Introduction

Haircut Now (“the Platform”) is a marketplace connecting clients (“Clients”) with independent barbers (“Barbers”) for haircut and grooming services. By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Service as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

2. Nature of Services

Haircut Now does not provide haircutting or grooming services directly. All services are performed by independent Barbers. Haircut Now does not control or supervise Barbers’ work and is not responsible for the quality, safety, or outcome of services.

3. Independent Contractor Status

Barbers using the Platform are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or representatives of Haircut Now. Barbers are solely responsible for their methods, tools, and services.

4. Client Terms of Use

4.1 Booking and Payments

  • When booking, Clients pay a deposit through the Platform.

  • The deposit is deducted from the total service cost.

  • All remaining service fees are paid directly to the Barber at the time of the appointment.

  • Off-platform arrangements for the deposit are prohibited.

4.2 Cancellations and Refunds

  • Clients may cancel up to 1 hour before the appointment for a refund of their deposit.

  • Deposits are non-refundable for late cancellations or no-shows.

  • Refunds or adjustments for service quality must be addressed directly with the Barber. Haircut Now may, at its discretion, assist in facilitating communication.

4.3 Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Arrive on time for appointments.

  • Treat Barbers respectfully.

  • Avoid harassment, discrimination, or misconduct.

Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

5. Barber Terms of Use

5.1 Licensed Commercial Operation

Barbers must operate in licensed commercial establishments (barbershops, salons, or suites). Home-based or mobile services are prohibited.

5.2 Adherence to Advertised Rates

Barbers must honor the rates displayed on the Platform. Barbers may not pass referral fees to Clients or charge additional fees beyond the agreed price.

5.3 Performance Standards

Barbers with repeated negative reviews or complaints may be removed from the Platform at Haircut Now’s discretion.

6. Fees and Payments

  • Haircut Now collects only the deposit for appointments.

  • Barbers receive the balance of the service price directly from the Client.

  • The deposit may include a referral fee that benefits Haircut Now.

  • Haircut Now does not process or guarantee payments made directly between Clients and Barbers.

7. Ratings and Reviews

  • Clients may review Barbers after services.

  • Reviews must be honest, fair, and non-defamatory.

  • Haircut Now may remove reviews that violate these standards.

8. Disputes and Resolution

Haircut Now offers a limited dispute resolution process. Both Clients and Barbers agree to participate in good faith. Haircut Now’s role is facilitative only and does not guarantee resolution.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Haircut Now is not liable for:

  • Service quality, timeliness, or safety provided by Barbers.

  • Damages, losses, or injuries related to services booked through the Platform.

  • Client reliance on ratings, reviews, or profiles.

  • Any cancellation, no-show, or dispute between Clients and Barbers.

10. Termination of Accounts

Haircut Now may suspend or terminate access for Clients or Barbers who violate these Terms or engage in misconduct.

11. Changes to Terms

Haircut Now reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
