Haircut Now Privacy Policy

1. Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Haircut Now platform, including:
Clients booking services
Barbers using the Haircut Now mobile applications
Barbers and businesses listed in the Haircut Now Barber Directory (free and premium)
It explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information, and outlines your privacy rights under applicable laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
By using Haircut Now’s websites, directory, or mobile applications, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Account & Listing Deletion
You may delete your app account or request removal of your directory listing by:
Logging into the app and navigating to Account > Settings > Delete Account, or
Emailing support@haircutnow.com from your registered email address with “Delete Account” or “Remove Listing” in the subject line.
Once processed, your account and/or directory listing will be permanently removed. Certain records may be retained for legal, tax, or fraud prevention purposes as required by law.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 From Clients
Personal Data: name, email, phone number, address, ZIP code
Booking Data: appointment requests, service selections, deposits paid
Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, session duration
Optional Location Data: used for nearby barber searches
3.2 From Barbers (App Users & Directory Listings)
Business Information: shop or suite address, phone number, email, city, state, ZIP code
Professional Information: profile image, haircut photos, service categories, specialties
Reputation Data: ratings, reviews, performance metrics, complaint history
Subscription Data: directory package selection, billing status, and renewal dates
Payment Data: processed securely through third-party payment processors (Haircut Now does not store full credit card numbers)
3.3 From All Users
Communications: emails, SMS messages, push notifications
Device & Tracking Data: cookies, pixels, device identifiers, analytics data
Directory Interaction Data: profile views, listing clicks, and conversion tracking
4. Public Directory Information
Barber profiles listed in the Haircut Now Barber Directory may be visible to the public and may include:
Business name
City, state, and service area
Profile and portfolio photos
Public contact details (if provided by the barber)
Ratings and reviews
Service categories
By claiming or maintaining a directory listing, barbers consent to having this information displayed publicly. You may update or remove your public listing at any time by contacting support.
5. Payments, Deposits & Subscriptions
Haircut Now collects a client deposit at the time of booking.
Deposits are deducted from the total service cost.
Remaining payments are made directly between Clients and Barbers.
Haircut Now does not process or store final service payments.
Directory subscription payments are processed through secure third-party providers (such as Stripe).
6. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
Operate and improve the Haircut Now platform and directory
Facilitate appointment requests and barber-client connections
Power public directory listings
Process deposits and directory subscriptions
Send confirmations, reminders, and service updates
Deliver promotional and educational communications
Prevent fraud and abuse
Ensure compliance with marketplace and directory policies
Perform analytics and improve user experience
7. Communications
7.1 Client Communications

Deposit and cancellation notifications

Account onboarding and listing updates

Directory subscription updates

7.3 SMS Messaging
We may send SMS messages for appointment alerts, download links, directory notices, or promotions.
Consent is required. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with:
Service providers: hosting, analytics, email, SMS delivery, payment processors
Advertising platforms: for retargeting and marketing campaigns

Other users: as part of normal operations (e.g., Barber listings visible to Clients, Client requests sent to Barbers)
9. Data Retention
Client booking and deposit records are retained as required for legal and accounting purposes.
Directory and barber business data may be retained for fraud prevention and regulatory compliance.
When no longer necessary, data is securely deleted or anonymized.
