Booth Rental Manager FAQs
What is Booth Rental Manager?
It is booth rent tracking software for barbershops and salons. It keeps rental agreements, charges, balances, payment records, and credits organized by renter.
What does it cost, and is there a trial?
Booth Rental Manager is $19 per month or $190 per year for one location. Both plans include a 14-day free trial. Payment details are collected at signup, and billing begins after the trial.
Does Booth Rental Manager collect or withdraw rent?
No. It records what should be paid and what was received. It does not withdraw rent or process the renter's payment.
Which payment methods can I record?
You can record cash, Zelle, Cash App, Apple Pay, Square, and other payment records without requiring renters to change how they pay.
Which rental schedules can I manage?
You can manage weekly, biweekly, monthly, and one-time chair rental terms, with the amount, schedule, start date, and agreement details for each renter.
Can I track partial payments, credits, and corrections?
Yes. Booth Rental Manager supports partial payment records, credits, adjustments, and corrections so the renter's balance reflects your records.
What can renters see?
Each renter has a private, mobile-friendly view of their agreement, balance, charges, and recorded payments. Owners and authorized managers have shop-wide oversight.
Can renters report a payment for me to confirm?
Yes. Renters can report a payment, and the shop can confirm that it was received. Owners can also enter payment records themselves.
Can I export records for bookkeeping?
Yes. Owners can download year-to-date activity or complete prior-calendar-year records as PDF or CSV files.
How many renters are included, and can I bundle walk-in management?
The plan includes unlimited renters at one location with no per-renter fees. Shop Operations combines Booth Rental Manager and Walk-In Manager for $39 per month or $390 per year.
Walk-In Manager FAQs
What is Walk-In Manager?
It manages customers who arrive without an appointment. Clients check in at a shop kiosk, and the system offers each walk-in to an available team member using a fair round-robin rotation.
What does it cost, and is there a trial?
Walk-In Manager is $29 per month or $290 per year for one location, with unlimited team members. Monthly and annual plans include a 14-day free trial; payment details are collected at signup, and billing begins after the trial.
What equipment do I need for customer check-in?
Your shop provides an iPad or Android tablet as the customer check-in kiosk. Barbers receive and manage walk-in offers on their own devices. Proprietary kiosk equipment is not required.
Do clients need an app or a QR code to check in?
No. Clients enter their name directly on the shop's tablet kiosk. They do not need to download an app, create an account, or scan a QR code.
How does the fair rotation work?
Team members check in when they arrive, and their daily check-in order starts the rotation. The next ready team member receives an offer and can accept or pass.
What happens when a team member is busy or takes a break?
A team member can use the busy status to step out of the ready rotation, then return to ready status when available for another walk-in.
Can owners or managers adjust the rotation or reassign a client?
Yes. Owner and manager controls support adjusting the order, reassigning clients, checking in a team member, and recording a walkout.
Does it work alongside my existing booking software?
Yes. Walk-In Manager handles unscheduled walk-in traffic and works alongside your existing appointment and payment tools.
Can salons and commission-based shops use it?
Yes. Walk-In Manager supports barbershops, salons, hybrid businesses, booth-rent teams, and commission teams without changing how team members are paid.
What activity and reports can I review?
Owners can review walk-ins, completed services, walked-out clients, average wait time, and service trends across daily and longer reporting periods.
