We don’t take full payment for services; you’ll make your $10 deposit to us and then pay the service provider the difference.

What is your cancellation policy:

We understand that things happen so please cancel your appointment more than one hour before the scheduled time. Your deposit will be forfeited in the event you do not show up for an upcoming appointment, less than 1hr of notice is given with no announced cancellations beforehand.

How do I contact my barber or stylist If I have questions?

Once your appointment is scheduled you will be able to chat with your barber or stylist within the app.

How far out can I schedule an appointment?

All appointments must be scheduled the same-day because we offer a same-day, last minute appointment service

Is my $10 deposit deducted from the final cost of the service?

Yes, the deposit will be credited towards the total charge when it comes time for services.

Do the barbers or stylist accept credit cards, debit cards, cash app, Zelle, etc.?

If you have any questions about the acceptable forms of payment, please contact the service provider using our chat feature which will become available after you schedule your appointment.

Is a $10 deposit required for each person when I book multiple people at once?

No, we collect $10 for each session booked not for each person.

I'm a Barber, how can I add my services

Haircut Now doesn't provide the capability for barbers to add specific services directly. Instead, our platform allows clients to specify the type of haircut they need, such as for an adult, senior, or child, and set their desired budget. We then send these requests to all barbers within a 15-mile radius of the client's location. As a barber, you have the option to accept, ignore, or counter the client's offer with a different amount for the service. This system ensures that clients receive timely responses and barbers have the flexibility to manage their engagements efficiently.

How can I sign my barbershop up?

Haircut Now doesn't have the ability to sign-up as a barbershop but each barber within your shop can sign-up by following these steps:

  1. Visit Our Website or Download the App: Go to the Haircut Now website or download the app from the iOS or Android app store.
  2. Create an Account: Sign up by providing some basic information about yourself and your barbershop.
  3. Set Up Your Profile: Fill out your barbershop's profile with details such as your location, years of experience, and a short bio. You can also upload photos of your work to showcase your skills.
  4. Start Receiving Requests: Once your profile is set up, you can start receiving haircut requests from clients in your area.

Is there a fee for barbers to join Haircut Now?

Currently, there is no fee for barbers to join Haircut Now. You can sign up and start receiving client requests without any initial cost.

Why don't Haircut Now Charge a subscription fee for barbers, what's the catch?

Haircut Now doesn't charge a subscription fee because all of our client requests are sent simultaneously to multiple barbers so we can't guarantee you will be awarded the appointment.

If you are awarded the appointment the client pays us $10 to secure the appointment and pays you the balance when they arrive at your shop. We keep the $10 as our referral fee. 

How do I sign up for Haircut Nowas a barber?

You can sign up by downloading the Haircut Now app from the iOS or Android app store and following the registration process. You'll need to provide some basic information, including your shops location and portfolio.

I'm a barber, can I use Haircut Now alongside my existing booking system?

Yes, Haircut Now is designed to complement your existing booking system. It helps you fill in the gaps in your schedule by attracting clients who need immediate services.

As a barber how do I receive payments from clients?

Clients pay Haircut Now a $10 deposit to secure their appointment and pays the barber the balance when they arrive at the shop. 

Haircut Now keeps the $10 deposit as our referral fee.

I'm a barber, what happens if I need to cancel an accepted request?

If you need to cancel an accepted request, you can do so by contacting the client through the app.

Please note that frequent cancellations can impact your ratings and visibility on the platform.

Additionally, you are required to notify us by emailing support@haircutnow.com with the client's name whose appointment you canceled, so we can process the deposit refund

How does the rating system for barbers work?

Clients can rate their experience after each haircut. Your overall rating is an average of all the ratings you receive. Higher ratings can lead to more client appointments.

Can I set my own prices for haircuts?

No, but you can counter with a higher price if the clients desired amount is too low for your services. 

I'm a barber, how do I update my availability?

Haircut Now doesn't offer the ability to set your availability but keep in mind we send our requests to multiple barbers at once so if you are busy you are under no obligation to accept the request. 

What if a client doesn't show up for an appointment?

If the client doesn't show up, try reaching them through the in app chat feature to reschedule. 

How can I ensure my barber profile stands out to clients?

Make sure to upload high-quality photos of your work, maintain a complete and professional profile by adding a bio at sign-up, and respond promptly to client requests.

Good ratings also help your profile stand out so be sure to mark the service complete and ask the client to give you a "5-Star" rating. 

Is there support available if I have issues with the app?

Yes, Haircut Now provides customer support for barbers and clients. You can reach out by emailing us at support@haircutnow.com or by using the chat feature on the website if you encounter any issues or have questions.

Why can't I update certain fields like my gender and bio within the app?

Most fields can be updated within the app but for those that cannot just send us an email at support@haircutnow.com with the necessary changes and we'll update them for you. 

I'm a barber , how do I upload my photos?

To upload your photos please follow these steps.

  1. Make sure you have the "Haircut Now Biz app" not the Haircut Now app
  2. Click on "Account" in the lower right screen of your phone
  3. Click on "My Profile" 
  4. Go to the section right below "about" and click on edit or + to add your photos

If the steps above doesn't work you need to navigate to the settings on your phone and go to apps>haircut now biz>permissions and ensure you have given Haircut Now permission to access your photos, location, and calendar. 

I'm a barber why are my requests being cancelled?

Requests are cancelled for the following reasons.

  1. The client changed their mind and cancelled
  2. The client didn't pay the required $10 deposit to complete the appointment

It's important to note that requests are not appointments, if you are awarded an appointment you will receive another notification congratulating you on winning the appointment. 

Will the barber be notified if they didn't get the appointment?

Yes, if the client chooses another barber every barber who received the notification will receive another notification informing them that the client chose someone else. 

How will the barber know that they have an actual appointment

The barber will receive an additional notification notifying them that they have an appointment.

Furthermore, we will also send you an notification informing you that the client chose a different barber.
