Is there a charge to use this service?
There is no charge for clients to use Haircut Now. You can download the app, put up a haircut request, and receive responses from barbers without any cost. Once you choose a barber we will require a $10 deposit to secure your appointment but the deposit is deducted from the total cost of your service. Barbers also do not incur any upfront fees to join the platform. The only payment involved is the cost of the haircut or service you agree upon with the barber. This ensures a seamless and cost-effective experience for both clients and barbers.
 
Clients can cancel their appointment up to 30 minutes before the scheduled time by using our in-app chat feature to notify the barber. To request a refund for your $10 deposit, please also email us at support@haircutnow.com

Haircut Now is a same-day appointment service so all appointments must be scheduled for the same-day of the request. 
 
Yes, Haircut Now offers haircuts for females as well as males. Our platform connects clients with barbers who specialize in a wide range of services, including women’s haircuts, styling, and more.
When you put up a haircut request, you can specify the type of service you need, and barbers with the relevant expertise will respond. This ensures you get the best possible service tailored to your needs.
 
If you didn’t receive any replies from barbers after putting up a request, there could be a few reasons for this:
  1. Barber Availability: There may not have been any barbers available in your area at the time of your request. Try adjusting the time of your request to increase the chances of getting a response.
  2. Technical Issues: Occasionally, technical issues may cause delays or prevent requests from being seen by barbers. If you suspect this might be the case, try resubmitting your request or contacting our support team for assistance.
Is Haircut Now available for mobile barbers or barbers who cut at home?
No, to use Haircut Now you must be working at a barbershop or suite in a commercial building. 
 
Yes, Haircut Now is designed to complement your existing booking system. It helps you fill in the gaps in your schedule by attracting clients who need immediate services.
 
Haircut Now collects the first $10 to secure the appointment and the balance is paid directly to you when your new client arrives at the shop.
Haircut Now retains the $10 deposit as our referral fee. 
If you need to cancel a booked appointment, you can do so by notifying the client  through the in-app chat feature and informing them to contact us at support@haircutnow.com to request a refund for their deposit.
However, frequent cancellations can affect your ratings and the ability to use our platform.
Yes, once you receive a request you will have the option to accept or counter for a higher amount.

How much does it cost to sign up as a barber?
Signing up as a barber on Haircut Now is free. We do not charge any upfront fees for barbers to join our platform.
You can create a profile, showcase your portfolio, and start receiving requests from clients without any cost. Our aim is to help barbers connect with more clients and grow their business seamlessly.
Haircut Now was created to help individual barbers operating under the booth rent model build their clientele. Therefore, we do not offer a feature for barbershops to sign up.
However, each barber in your shop can sign up individually.
Haircut Now doesn’t provide the capability for barbers to add specific services directly. Instead, our platform allows clients to specify the type of haircut they need, such as for an adult, senior, or child, and set their desired budget.
We then send these requests to all barbers within a 15-mile radius of the client’s location. As a barber, you have the option to accept, ignore, or counter the client’s offer with a different amount for the service.
This system ensures that clients receive timely responses and barbers have the flexibility to manage their engagements efficiently.
Barbers can sign up on the Haircut Now app, upload their previous haircut photos, and receive requests from clients in real-time.
Barbers can choose to accept or decline requests based on their schedule and preferences.
There is no fee for barbers to join Haircut Now. You can sign up and start receiving client requests without any initial cost.
