Marketplace Terms of Agreement

1. Introduction

Haircut Now operates as a marketplace platform connecting clients with independent barbers (“Barbers”) for haircut and grooming services. By using the Haircut Now platform, both clients and Barbers agree to abide by these Marketplace Terms of Agreement in addition to the general Terms of Service of the Haircut Now website and app.

2. Independent Contractor Status

Barbers operating on the Haircut Now platform are independent contractors and not employees, agents, or representatives of Haircut Now. Haircut Now does not control or direct the professional activities of Barbers and is not responsible for the methods, materials, or final outcomes of the services provided.

3. Service Agreements

All service agreements are directly between the client and the Barber. Haircut Now is not a party to these agreements and is not responsible for the performance of the services. Clients and Barbers are responsible for any negotiations, agreements, and fulfillment of services.

4. Eligibility Requirements for Barbers

4.1 Licensed Commercial Operation:
Barbers must operate as licensed professionals working in a commercial establishment such as a barbershop, salon, or suite. Barbers operating from residential locations or offering mobile services (traveling to a client’s home) are prohibited from using the Haircut Now platform. Violations of this policy will result in removal from the platform.

4.2 Adherence to Advertised Rates:
Barbers must honor the rates advertised on the Haircut Now platform when accepting a client’s request. Barbers are strictly prohibited from passing referral fees to clients or requesting additional payments that conflict with the agreed terms.

4.3 Performance Standards:
Barbers with excessive negative reviews or consistent client complaints are subject to review and potential removal from the platform at Haircut Now’s sole discretion.

5. Fees and Payments

Haircut Now may charge fees for the use of its platform, which will be disclosed to both clients and Barbers. All financial transactions related to service agreements must be conducted through the Haircut Now platform. Barbers are responsible for setting their own service prices and may be subject to a referral or commission fee as determined by Haircut Now.

6. Ratings and Reviews

Clients may provide ratings and reviews of services received from Barbers. These ratings and reviews must be honest, fair, and comply with Haircut Now’s guidelines. Haircut Now reserves the right to remove ratings or reviews that violate these guidelines or contain offensive content.

7. Disputes and Resolution

Haircut Now provides a dispute resolution process to assist clients and Barbers in resolving issues. Both parties agree to participate in good faith. Haircut Now’s role is limited to facilitating communication and does not guarantee resolution.

8. Termination

Haircut Now reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to the platform for any user who violates these Marketplace Terms of Agreement or the general Terms of Service.

9. Changes to the Marketplace Terms of Agreement

Haircut Now reserves the right to modify these Marketplace Terms of Agreement at any time. Users will be notified of changes, and continued use of the platform will constitute acceptance of the revised terms.

By using the Haircut Now platform, clients and Barbers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Marketplace Terms of Agreement.

Account Deletion
To delete your account and all associated data, log in to the app and navigate to Account > Settings > Delete Account. Alternatively, email us at support@haircutnow.com from your registered email address with “Delete Account” as the subject. Once processed, your personal information and activity history will be permanently deleted.
