Haircut Now is a U.S.-based barber directory and same-day haircut request platform that connects clients with professional barbers operating from verified commercial locations on the app as well as mobile barbers on the directory.
The platform operates in two ways:
A nationwide online barber directory that allows future bookings.
A same-day request system that allows clients to request immediate availability through the mobile app.
Barbers can use one or both features.
Haircut Now provides two methods for receiving clients:
1. Directory Listings
Barbers can:
Create or claim a listing
Set their own pricing
Set their own hours
Link to external booking platforms (Booksy, StyleSeat, Square, etc.)
Accept future appointments
2. Same-Day Requests (Mobile App)
Clients submit a request that includes:
Location
Time window
Service type
Nearby barbers receive the request and can respond if available.
The client chooses a barber based on:
Portfolio photos
Ratings
Proximity
Response time
Haircut Now is not primarily a calendar management platform.
It is a client acquisition platform and barber directory that:
Generates visibility in Google search
Connects clients to barbers
Enables same-day opportunity bookings
Barbers may continue using their existing booking software or choose to use it like a booking app by opting in to accept appointments from the directory.
Yes.
Haircut Now allows barbers to:
Link their existing booking profiles
Continue using their primary scheduling software
Receive new clients outside of their current booking platform
Haircut Now functions as an additional traffic and discovery source.
Haircut Now earns revenue in two ways:
Premium directory subscriptions (optional)
A $10 referral fee collected from the client during same-day bookings (app only)
The $10 deposit is deducted from the total service price.
Example:
If a haircut costs $40, the barber receives $30 at the appointment. Haircut Now retains the $10 referral fee.
There are no mandatory monthly fees to receive same-day requests.
Barbers may choose:
A free directory listing
An optional premium listing subscription
There is no required subscription fee to receive same-day requests.
Barbers only pay the referral fee when a new client books through the same-day mobile app.
In the directory:
Yes. Barbers set their own service pricing.
In the same-day request system:
Pricing is standardized based on market averages to simplify the booking process and reduce client confusion.

There are no penalties for non-response.
Barbers must operate from verified commercial locations if accepting same-day appointments through the app such as:

Haircut Now does not regulate where barbers operate out of for the directory, mobile barbers are allowed.
For same-day bookings:
The client pays a $10 deposit online.
The remaining balance is paid directly to the barber at the appointment.
For directory bookings:
Payment terms depend on the barber.
If a client cancels an app appointment at least one hour before a scheduled same-day appointment, the deposit is refunded.
Barbers are not compensated for no-shows.
Yes.
How repeat bookings are handled depends on how the original booking was made.
If the booking was made through the Haircut Now mobile app (same-day request):
Haircut Now collects a $10 referral fee on the initial appointment.
Barbers keep 100% of future bookings if the client returns directly.
No additional referral fees are collected on repeat visits booked outside the app.
If the booking was made through a Free Directory listing:
Haircut Now collects a 15% commission on appointments processed through the directory system.
Commission applies only to bookings completed through the platform.
If the booking was made through a Premium Directory listing:
No commission is charged.
Barbers keep 100% of the service price.
Haircut Now does not collect revenue on repeat visits booked directly between the barber and client outside the platform.
Haircut Now does not require long-term contracts.
Premium subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis. Barbers may cancel their subscription at any time, and the subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
No additional charges will occur after the subscription period ends.
Annual subscriptions are non-refundable and remain active until the end of the billing term.
Client volume depends on:
Market demand
Profile completeness
Photo quality
Response speed
Geographic competition
Haircut Now receives tens of thousands of monthly visitors nationwide searching for barbers.
Results vary by city.
Booksy primarily functions as:
A scheduling and calendar management system
A closed ecosystem booking platform
Haircut Now primarily functions as:
A barber discovery directory
A Google-search-based visibility platform
A same-day opportunity marketplace
Many barbers use both platforms together.
Haircut Now can function as a booking platform through the directory, but it does not require barbers to replace their existing scheduling software.
Barbers have options:
Use Haircut Now’s directory to accept online bookings directly.
Link to an external booking platform such as Booksy, Square, or other scheduling systems.
Use the same-day request feature in the mobile app for immediate availability.
