--- title: How to Send Booth Rent Reminders description: Send a manual push reminder with the current balance and last confirmed payment. url: "https://haircutnow.com/docs/how-to-send-booth-rent-reminders/" updated: "2026-10-27" category: Booth Rental Manager tags: - Notifications - "Owners & Managers" --- # How to Send Booth Rent Reminders Owners and authorized managers can send a manual rent reminder from a renter’s Access settings. ## Before sending The renter must: - Be connected to **My Booth Rent**. - Have a balance due. - Have Haircut Now alerts enabled on a device. Confirm recent payments first so the reminder uses the correct official balance. ## Send the reminder 1. Find the renter in Booth Rental Manager. 2. Open **Manage → Access**. 3. Review the access status. 4. Select **Send rent reminder**. 5. Read the result message. The push reminder includes the current ledger balance and last confirmed payment received. It opens My Booth Rent. ## If the button is unavailable Connect the renter’s account and save access first. Ready to connect is not the same as a completed account connection. ## If sending fails Follow the message: the renter may need to enable alerts, complete account connection, or may no longer have a balance due. Repeated sends within the same minute are suppressed. ## What this feature does This is a manually triggered push reminder. It does not automatically collect rent, send a text message, or establish a recurring reminder schedule. A successful send message does not prove the renter read the notification. If they cannot see it, have them check app permissions, internet access, and the account they are signed into.
